So, what is this new position I speak of? Well, I will be teaching my usual suspects (limited cognitive ability or adapted curriculum kiddos) in the morning (and organizing, planning for their entire day) and then in the afternoons I will be teaching 4 year old preschoolers as part of our IPOP program. This program includes student with disabilities and role model students. My sons, A & B have both been part of this program. B will actually be in the 4 year old class this year, but with the other teacher. I am super excited about this change, although nervous at the same time.
I took some pictures of my new room the other day before moving any of my stuff in. The furniture was in the hallway because the cleaning crew was getting ready to strip and wax the floor. I was left with A LOT!! I will take pictures when I go in again tomorrow so you can see how much I have added to the current disaster area. There is tons of storage which is great. I am just working on how to best set up to accommodate all of my students. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
So have any of you moved around for this upcoming school year?
.
I haven't moved rooms, but my position changed! It's exciting and nerve-wracking all at the same time. Best of luck as you get situated! :)
