Monster Freebies!

I did a quick update to my Monster freebies from last October.  Now they are updates and all in one easy download from Google Docs.  Use these to practice numbers 1 -12, letters A-Z and some basic sight words.   Let me know if you like them and how you use them as I may make more (which will also be free)!

Monster freebie!!

Wow! Has it been a whirlwind these past two months. Between school, my family, and going back to school myself I am finding it hard to have a minute to breath. I have a student who is struggling with identifying numbers 7-12 so I made him a cover up sheet with just those numbers. I am going to make a die with dots for those numbers. He will then roll die, count the dots and color in the matching number ( or place a counter, eraser, etc. over it). I hope some of you can use this! Get it byclicking the link below the picture.

Monster Cover Up

Find a word monster edition

My students have jumped head first into the month of October and are already super excited about Halloween. I decided to make them a Find a word with a monster.(If you look carefully you can see the words hiding on the monster to the left.) I originally got this idea from another blog and at this moment can not remember where. (Blame it on pregnancy brain) So if you know where I got it from, please let me know so that I can give credit. I also made a find the letter version to try with some of my younger students. Let me know what you think!!

Also, this weekend I will be doing a review of a Halloween bags where kids can color them with markers. This will also be a giveaway. I am really excited about trying it out and can't wait to see what my boys think!!

Bucket Filling Bulletin Board

I have noticed the trend that a lot of schools are going to Bucket Filling. We started bucket filling at our school a few years ago and it has stuck around. Last year one of my paraprofessionals put together this bulletin board for me and I wanted to share it. ( I loved it so much, that I kept it for this year.  She was able to tie in bucket filling with my monster theme, which I love.
