behavior chart freebie!

Behavior Clip Chart
I have had a lot of requests for my behavior chart lately so I decided to update it and add it as a freebie. If you have any questions on how I use it check out this post and this ebook.

I would love to know how you use it in your classroom or if you have another system that works great for you.

OK, I have made you wait long enough... click on the link below the picture to get the chart. Enjoy and please show some love to the fantastic artist who made the clipart.

Vistaprint Goodies!

Have you ever used Vistaprint to make things for your classroom? I discovered this resource last summer and LOVE it! I watch for when they have free promotions and order things. I love the business cards for caught being good cards. I also like to use the post cards for notes from the teacher or another caught being good cards. Most recently I made some things for my son A's kindergarten teacher (shhh! Don't tell her!) and of course I had to make something for myself while I was there. I made some new good notes that say "I had a hootin' good day! and then for A's teacher I made a self kinking stamp for her books. I love the stamp and will definitely have to get one for myself soon! Check out this previous posts here and here  to see some of my other Vistaprint creations. If you want to make some creations of your own head on over to Vistaprint (if you go through my blog you should get free business cards!)! If you sign up for their emails and join their facebook page you can get current promotions. There is also a group on Facebook called VistaPrint ideas for teachers

Behavior

I have linked up with Heather over at  Krazy About Kindy to discuss behavior systems in the classroom. This year I started using a clip chart that was all over Pintrest last summer. I designed it in Microsoft Digital Image Suite and added some graphics. Then during one of Vista Prints "sales" for free banners I ordered it. I LOVE it! Being a banner it is super durable and brightly colored. I hung it on my chalkboard. I will say, this works great for most of the kids. All of general education students respond well to it. Of course not all behavior systems will work for everyone, sometimes you have to modify for one student. Such is the life of a special educator. :o) Head on over to Krazy About Kindy to check out the linky party by clicking on her blog button.

Vista Print Goodies!!

I just got in my latest goodies from Vista Print. Some of the pictures are a bit fuzzy since I was using my phone to take the pictures.   I think my favorite is the Positive Postcards. I plan on mailing these home to share positive news with parents. I also love the sticky notes.  I hope that they make it easier for when I need to leave a note for things to be copied. (I will let you know after I give it a try and get feed back from the paras) Have you made anything fun lately on Vista Print?
I have PDF's of the behavior chart, positive postcard and hand washing sign so if you would like a copy just leave a comment with your email or send me an email at learningahoy@gmail.com.  ** Click here to get the behavior chart!!!**

Free Postcards!

I just made post cards for my classroom through this offer from Vista Print. If you use their images you just pay shipping (about $5). I chose to upload my own so it cost me a few more dollars, but I love the final product. I plan to use these to mail home as good notes, meeting reminders, etc. What will you use yours for?

If you have never used Vista Print before, it is great! I always chose the cheapest shipping and get the items within 2 weeks. I have ordered birthday invites and business cards for my classroom.
